The “Carriage House” that you see now is what is left of our original bow frame circa 1750 rambling half Cape style home that was purchased in 1993. As our children grew we needed more space (most antique homes of that time period had very little in the way of closet space, storage, etc), but desperately loved our location and our 1750 home.

 

We decided to keep as much as we could of the antique home and in 2008 we built a colonial on the same property with the intent of connecting the two structures together in the future to accommodate our visiting family members and our growing children. Fast forward to February of 2019 when the connection and renovation of the original half cape began and was finished by January 2020
